 Welcome to Glowing Amber Glass, located in Rocky Mountain House, just West of Red Deer and nestled in West Central Alberta, between Edmonton and Calgary. With the Canadian Rockies in my back yard it is easy to draw inspiration from the natural beauty around me.
Glowing Amber Glass was formed by myself, Betty Ann Portelance, I have been creating handcrafted glass since 1998. I specialize in all fused glass, such as Pictures, Bowls, Plates, Platters Tiles and Vases. All of my pieces are brought to life in my home studio using various techniques such as glass casting, lampworking and a form of Pate De Vere casting. You can find my creations at art shows or view the online gallery. Some pieces can be purchased by directly contacting myself. Due to the fact all items are handcrafted with the greatest of care, no two pieces are identical and it may take up to 6 weeks for delivery. Thank you for visiting my website.
